Thanet House is ideally situated close to the amenities and shops of Streatham Common. Thanet House is five minutes’ walk away from Streatham Leisure Centre and Ice Rink and Streatham Common Park. It also enjoys easy access to a wide variety of shops including four major Supermarkets, post office, surgery, Library, three train stations with easy access to buses going into London, Croydon and surrounding areas and a range of grocery stores supplying a wide variety of foods from around the world.

Our aim at Thanet House is to provide a supportive, caring environment where people feel part of the family and have a place they can call home. Not just another institution, we aim to empower as many people as possible with enduring mental health problems, between the ages of 18-65 years old, to live fulfilling lives and re-integrate them back into the community. Our clients are of mixed genders, diagnosed with a range of complex mental health needs.

At Thanet House we provide an excellent service in a caring and homely atmosphere; our home is furnished to a high standard. We ensure that all our service users’ needs are met regardless of their age, sex, race, disability, religion or sexual orientation and are supported in a comfortable and safe environment with the objective of promoting independence, freedom of expression, choice, and above all enabling service users to realize their full potential.
