Latimer House is a supported accommodation service aimed at providing an excellent service and a caring homely atmosphere for semi-independent service users suffering from a variety of mental illness. We ensure that their needs are met regardless of their age, sex, race, disability, religion or sexual orientation. This will be provided in a comfortable, safe, non-judgemental, sound and secure environment with the objective of promoting independence, freedom of expression, choice, and above all enabling service users to realise their full potential.
We employ a team of multi skilled staff who are conversant with a robust quality system, in a place that will ensure consistent and high quality delivery of support. Latimer House is staffed 24 hours per day; 9am-9pm and a sleep in night shift. A daily cooked meal is provided, however clients have the option to either prepare their own meals or participate in cooking sessions with support staff.
Clients are supported to reintegrate into society; we promote social inclusion by identifying suitable activities, training and employment opportunities within the local area and encourage them to participate regularly.
Clients suited to our support services will be adults aged between 18 – 65 years old of a mixed gender, who could be referred from any part of the United Kingdom. Residents with dual diagnosis and a range of complex mental health needs will be considered.
