Cairo house is a step-down supported living scheme for adults living with enduring mental health conditions.

Our mission is to provide supported accommodation in a way that creates a homely atmosphere, we want the people we support to feel at home and a part of the family. It is our mission to help our clients, some of whom may have been isolated from the community, to regain the confidence and skills to live in harmony in society.

We do not judge or discriminate, we offer support and encouragement, the way we see it, if our clients succeed, we succeed.

We know it’s not always possible to successfully help every person that walks through our door, but we will give every person the respect, encouragement and opportunity to improve their quality of life, if they are willing to try and accept the support offered.

During the admission process we sit down with the client and build a support plan by asking a series of questions about their likes, dislikes, family, goals, dreams and passions. We give them the platform to inform us of what they want to achieve and ensuring we create a plan that is both realistic and achievable. The plan is reviewed periodically and updated when necessary.

It is located close to train stations and buses with easy access to London, Croydon and surrounding areas.
